Being in ‘Pain’, especially for long periods of time, can sometimes begin to define who we are. Whether we deem it good or bad, it is an experience that can move us to a new understanding.
The good news is we have a choice.
We can be in the fear or contraction that pain can bring, OR we can choose to shift focus into relief and recovery.
When the focus is shifted, the body can begin to relax. When the body relaxes, patterns of trauma (physical and/or emotional) can begin to unwind. Relief can then come into play.
This can be done using several methods. One proven method I use is ‘Somatic- Passive release’. This method is a combination that morphed from several techniques learned over decades AND from feedback working on clients. It is amazing on many levels.
